A Weekly Conversation with the Founder of Traverse Family Therapy

Our founder co-hosts a weekly podcast with his brother. It is a separate project from this practice and it covers different ground, but if you want a sense of how he actually thinks, this is the most honest place to hear it.

About the show

Two Brothers Who Kept Having the Same Conversation

Brannon Patrick, LCSW, founded Traverse Family Therapy. Tyler Patrick, LMFT, is his brother and also a licensed therapist. The Therapy Brothers is where the two of them take the conversations they have been having for years and record them, unscripted, with real callers.

The show is its own thing. It is not a Traverse Family Therapy service. If something on the show sounds like your situation, the right next step is still to talk to someone directly.

What they talk about

The Subjects Most People Avoid

The show works with adults on relationship injuries and recovery. It is direct, and some of it is not comfortable listening. If that is not what you are looking for right now, that is a completely reasonable reason to skip it.

  • Betrayal and broken trust

  • Rebuilding a relationship after an injury

  • Compulsive behavior and recovery

  • Parenting while you are struggling yourself

  • What healthy looks like on the other side

This is adult subject matter and a different focus from the work we do here. What we treat is on our services page.
