Here Is What We Help With
Family Therapy
There's more tension at home and less peace. We bring in everyone who is part of it, so each person is heard and you leave with clear steps to follow.

Your teenager is isolating, shutting down, depressed or anxious, and struggling at school. We work with them and with you, so you're not guessing anymore.

Your child is not regulating their emotions or opening up, and is struggling at school or with sleep. Parenting is more difficult. We work with your child and support you as a parent.

There's more friction in the relationship, less harmony at home, less love and connection between the two of you. You come in together, and we work on the patterns that keep you stuck.

Trust was broken, and you don't know what comes next. We help the partner who was hurt, the one who is struggling, and couples who want to rebuild.
More on betrayal trauma
All of it is outpatient therapy, in Alpine or by video anywhere in Utah. Not sure which one fits? Call (385) 224-5128 or send us a message.
Choosing Someone You Can Trust
Every clinician has a unique skill set. And a unique style. Read about each of us and pick who feels right. Not sure? Tell us what is going on and we will help you figure out the next step.

Tell Us What Is Going On
If you are not sure what you need yet, that is fine. We will help you figure out the next step.
What Happens After You Get in Touch

01
You Get in Touch
Send the form or call us. Sometimes we meet the parents first, so you can start even if your teen will not come yet.

02
We Reply Within 24 Hours
We verify your coverage before your first session and tell you what your sessions will cost.

03
Your First Visit Is an Intake
You start a guided plan for your therapy together, and your therapist checks it with you as you go, so you can see whether it is working.
We are not interested in endless sessions.
In-Person Therapy or Online Therapy
You do not have to travel to Alpine to work with us. Come meet with us in person or attend via teleconference anywhere in Utah. Both are private, quiet, and confidential.

Why Families Choose Traverse
Specialized in Teens, Children, Families, and Couples
Your child is not an occasional case here. Teens, children and families are our focus, so you get a plan built for a family from the first visit.
Therapy with a Direction and an End
Every plan has a direction, so therapy does not become a standing appointment. The goal is to get you out of it.
Faith-Literate, Not Faith-Based
Whatever your family believes, your therapist will respect it and will not push a view of their own. So you can say what is really going on.
Paying for therapy
Clear and Transparent Pricing
You will know what you pay before you get attached to a therapist.
