As an athlete, I saw how much I let a sport control my self-worth. I wanted control back in my life, and I want to help others who are struggling with similar feelings. Below, I have answered a few questions so you can get to know me.
Meet Addison
A short introduction from Addison is being filmed.
Why I Chose This Field
I became a therapist because I saw through being an athlete myself how much I let something like a sport control my self-worth. I wanted control back in my life, and I was able to get that and also help others who are struggling with similar feelings.
What I Bring to This Work
Being an athlete gave me a lot of experience because I got to see it firsthand through myself how much therapy and a good mindset can change someone. I also got to see it through other people and got to help friends and others I cared about and was able to mentor and help them as well.
Who I Work Best With
I enjoy working with ages 13-30, men and women. Those who need help navigating the stage of life they are in and help reach their full potential.
What a Session With Me Looks Like
Clients in sessions with me can feel comfortable sharing with me their thoughts and feelings without judgment, and together we will work towards improvement on themselves and life.
