Brannon Patrick, LCSW
Founder and Clinical Director
I have been in the trenches for years. I thrive in intense situations like complex couples issues, and I love working with men who are struggling with shame associated with past trauma. Below, I have answered a few questions so you can get to know me.
Meet Brannon
A short introduction from Brannon is being filmed.
Why I Became a Therapist
I needed a career with meaning. I love people and I want to watch them grow and find peace. I have special talents and skills of empathy, honesty, and a willingness to say and do the hard things.
What I Bring to This Work
I have been in the trenches for years. I have helped couples through the most complex difficult situations. Nothing fazes me. I show up nonjudgmental with positive regard. I have specific knowledge and skills that make me an expert in helping individuals and couples heal trauma, shame, and relationship wounds.
Who I Work Best With
I enjoy working with self-determined clients who are ready to take direct feedback and apply it. I thrive in intense situations like complex couples issues. I also love working with men who are struggling with shame associated with past trauma.
What a Session With Me Looks Like
I will build safety and trust with you through my professionalism and empathy. I will guide you, reflect back to you things that you may not see. I will challenge you, get curious and help you gain clarity about your best path forward. I will also give you tools to navigate the toughest challenges.
What I Think Creates Change
Safety, Trust, Honesty, and a willingness to face pain and navigate through it. Also, it's what happens outside the therapy office that really makes a difference so giving clear guidance and tools is important.
If You Are Not Sure About Starting
Of course it's scary. Maybe you haven't had a good experience in the past. It's okay to be hesitant. But when you're ready let's get to work so that you don't have to suffer anymore.
Outside of Work
I have 4 beautiful children. My best friend is my dog Willie, and I am a 4 time Family Feud champion
If You Want an Intake Assessment
Some situations may require me to do an intake to help assess the situation and find the best fit for a therapist. If you want an intake assessment I am skilled at conceptualizing a case and making recommendations.
Tell Us What Is Going On
If you are not sure what you need yet, that is fine. We will help you figure out the next step.
